I promise you that Barr will have a lot more touches as the regular season approaches. This was practice and the coaches have to look at everybody at this point. Saturday will be a better look. We play 3 live quarters against West Carter will all the supposed starters playing together and not split into 2 teams. Also, we should hopefully have some injured players back in practice plus Jamal will be ready to put pads on by Saturday. We'll get a glimpse of what he may bring to the table. At 6'1" and 270, it should be a full plate.

 

Alright...I'll be the first to ask...who in the world is the 6'1", 270 lb "Jamal"??? And where do you guys keep getting these players from??? Last year a giant Swede and now this! :-)

He is from Russell. He transferred in from Texas last year and wasn't ruled eligible until late in the season. Something happened and he enrolled at Raceland last week. We are sure glad to have him in Orange and Black. And yes, he is both academically and athletically eligible to play immediately. He has to have 5 practices before putting on pads, so he should be good to go by Saturday night's grid against West Carter.

That new cryogenics lab is really paying off, I think that the science department should get a raise for coming up with that formula for football players. Hats off to them.

Also we are looking into bionics. Its just great with the new research lab that is state of the art. With the added bionics Dept. We may increase the speed by 10 fold.

Can we get the lab to look into a kicker/punter?
