It will be on the minds of the players and coaches of both teams, because who ever loses this game knows their season will be over come district time.

If Covcath is smart, they'll pound the ball inside this game. Isler and Wellbrock both need to be aggressive down low in order for CCH to win.

It is hard to offer a prediction on the game without having a read on whether Shover and/or Pauly will play and if so, how much. Without either of them, I would not be surprised to see the Indians knock off Coach Listerman for the first time. Getting quality minutes from either or both would be such a lift to the Colonels that it would likely spark a hard fought and close victory. The back and forth from the student sections will be entertaining.

I look for Maile to have a huge night. I'm not sure if any HC player can guard him straight up. That person will need help.

 

If CCH can protect the ball out top against Giwa they have a strong shot of winning this one.

The matchup I'm most interested in and in my opinion will have the biggest impact on the outcome is Maschinot/Giwa. How will Connor handle the pressure from one of the better on the ball defenders in the area? If he loses his confidence early it could be trouble for the Colonels. I also expect for HC to look to get it into Giwa in the post regardless of who guards him.

As a coach knowing that what you say above is true you make it difficult for them to double. Maile has the good fortune to have the size to post up and has enough of a handle and enough athletic ability to put him outside.

Romes really isn't that great a defender. It's his offensive game that makes him what he is.
