January 20, 200917 yr From the past probably Abraham Lincoln. In my lifetime it would be Ronald Reagan.
January 20, 200917 yr Just say it: Obama. I can't say that yet. His presidency is only hours old.
January 20, 200917 yr I find Jefferson Davis interesting. My favorite president was probably Clinton.
January 21, 200917 yr In my lifetime Ronald Reagan Overall, Thomas Jefferson without a doubt. If you ever get the chance to go to Colonial Willamsburg, you must make the time to talk to the gentlemen who portrays Thomas Jefferson. Sitting and talking with him was indeed a huge thrill not only for myself but for my daughter as well, as she can tell you more about Thomas Jefferson, than any person I know off. In playing his roll of Jefferson, my daughter and the gentleman talked and talked and afterwords he congratulated her on her knowledge of Thomas Jefferson! She was thrilled beyond words and we have a real nice picture of them together.... Her dream at the time was to attend William and Mary College and work at Colonial Williamsburg.....but old Dad doesn't have the bucks for that dream to happen.....
January 21, 200917 yr Lifetime in which I was a voting member and really cared about what was going on. Which means George the Dad, Clinton the lying adulterous scumbag, or George the son are my choices. I go with GW. History: Lincoln for having the guts to free the slaves and Truman for having the guts to drop the A-bomb and possibly shorten the war.
January 21, 200917 yr I can't pin one down overall. I have different things I admire several for, and none have ever embodied the totality of what I would call a "favorite". It would be cool to assemble my own perfect president. :thumb:
January 21, 200917 yr From the past probably Abraham Lincoln. In my lifetime it would be Ronald Reagan. Same here.:thumb:
January 21, 200917 yr Being a Christian, I just cannot say Jefferson is one of my favorites since he cut all the miracles of Jesus out of his Bible and promoted a miracle-free Jesus Christ.
