January 20, 200917 yr This is starting to get funny. How/Why is Kragthorpe allowed to keep his job? How come every coach is leaving, besides him? Tony Alford (running backs coach) is leaving UofL and heading to Notre Dame to do the same job. "Last one out, hit the lights" :isurrender: U of L assitants have never been in such demand. I would like to see Alford stay, but with everyone that's left, I understand why. he is making more money, and going to a more prestiguous program....a no-brainer. It lends something to be said that these assistants are wanted.

These are questions, not real rumors. AS it stands Vic is set up to be Louisville's all time leading rusher...and he's a hometown hero...he is staying.

January 21, 200917 yr The resources and facilities available to an NDU FB coach as opposed to at UofL are also a big factor not being mentioned.
January 21, 200917 yr There is indeed a positive...U of L has never had their coaches so much in demand....Coach Petrino was hands down the best coach ever here in Louisville, but with that he did everything...he had his hand reign down on every phase. There's nothing wrong with that. Coach Kragthorpe has started to surround himself with legit coaching talent, and now it's being cherry picked.....interesting at worst.
