January 22, 200917 yr Going to play some raquet ball in the rec center here soon. Will certainly help with the cardio. When I get done playing that I don't have a dry article of clothing on my body.
January 22, 200917 yr Quit smoking and still losing weight ??!! You are the winner so far if you want my opinion !! :thumb: The first day I quit I ate like a maniac out of boredom. I settled down after day one
January 22, 200917 yr That is pretty impressive man. Diets are nothing but a mind game for me. I know what I'm supposed to eat and what I'm not.
January 25, 200917 yr This week has been rough, we finally had the GCHS football Banquet today and I ate a piece of cake today - it was my son's senior banquet so I splurged but that is ok, that's life, I'll work harder tomorrow.:thumb:
January 25, 200917 yr I'll be weighing in for the first time on Tuesday. To be fair, I'll use that as my starting weight.
January 26, 200917 yr I've got to get on the ball. I'm losing weight but I've been cheating too much. The Super Bowl isn't going to help things out either :madman: I think I've lost 8-9 pounds so far. I've been lifting a lot and I feel better. I can actually tell I've lost weight and I can feel my muscles starting to form again.
January 26, 200917 yr Author Yeah...next weigh in isn't until next week. I haven't really cheated to much on food at least, adult beverages is another story. It's hard when you are in your last semester of college lol.
January 26, 200917 yr I have been eating a little bit better, but nothing too drastic. Typically just try to eat a little bit less. So, if I go out to eat, order a smaller size or fewer sandwhiches. The "adult beverages", as MJ calls them, are another story. :idunno:
January 26, 200917 yr And you're telling me that I weighed myself and reported it (for once) and I'm a week too early? :irked:
January 26, 200917 yr I was talking to my Dr. this morning and he told me that there was a study on people that lost more than 40lbs. or 15% of your body weight. That after 5 years 98% gained their weight back. He said that for the worst kind of cancer that a person can have, has better odds for a success rate than keeping the weight loss off.
