IMO, Timmy Knipp is the best in the state and I've seen every player who has been listed play. I would say Stenzel was a close second.

Aaron Rayburn from West Carter

Corey Gregg from Rose Hill

Cody Nickell from Elliott Co.

Gregg is a Frosh I thought. :idunno:

He seemed disturbed at some of or someone on his team last night I thought.

You have Cody Nickell on your list and yet you don't have Timmy Knipp. Who, I think has the potential to be a Legit D1 prospect. He is very athletic, a decent shooter and with sometime and hard work, Timmy will emerge as one of the better players in Kentucky in the next 2 years. He has brilliant upside.

Aaron Rayburn is a decent player, but he is not better than The four from Elliott or Barnhill. And I thought the topic's title was Best Soph's in Ky. Your three are 16th players. Zollo and Stinsell are both better than what most from the 16th saw in their scrimmage against Elliott during the Thanksgiving holiday.

Zollo, like Timmy needs to be more physical and once he gets his sea legs, Vinny will be very good. IMO

I would include Thelan of Cov. Cath. in the listing.

Stenzal and Zollo were already listed. Rayburn is a very good shooter.

Thelen isn't even the best sophomore in nky, let alone one of the tops in the state. He is solid around the rim but doesn't have the same skills as the other big men being mentioned in this thread.

Corey Gregg is only a freshman.
.

I had him and Colin Kennedy of RH mixed up sorry.

The 4 from Elliott and Barnhill are not 10th graders.:idunno:

I agree. I think Stauffer at Ryle and Hodges at Conner both come in ahead of of Thelan in NKY.

I agree with you on Kennedy from Rose Hill. He's a good young player that just needs some more experience. I also think Kyle King from Deming should be on the list.

Timmy Knipp is a sophomore, thus he is the second best Sophomore in the

16th region. And if you want to argue Aaron Rayburn is one of the best sophomores in the state, then he should maybe be one of the better players in the region. There are a lot of Good players in the state. I don't think Aaron Rayburn is one of the top 25 sophomores in KY.

If you are talking about Charles Sheffield he did not have the skills to play D1 ball...

No I'm talking about Charles Johnson who had an offer to WKU but decided to go to EKU for football.

???? Not even in the top 10 in N Ky

If you think he's not a top 10 sophomore in NKY then you have no clue what you're talking about and have never seen him play.
