I knew as soon as she and Jack did the big nasty she was dead. I was finally getting to like her. You do not want to be Jack's love interest.

Talk about the "kiss of death"!

Has 24 gone too far? I am not sure I like what they are doing with Jack. The flat out murder of Dana Walsh was an over the edge step. That was the first time Jack did something that almost everyone has to agree was flat out wrong. Are they building it to the point where Jack gets killed? It is the last season. If Jack goes over the edge like this, it makes it more palatable for him to be killed at the end and mourned as a tragic hero.

He killed Nina in a similar way. Of course, she made a weak move for her gun, but Jack could have easily got to it first, or kicked it out of the way earlier. He left it there so she would go for it, so he could justify killing her.

So, this isn't the first time. The common thread was he held them responsible for the death of his love interest.

I didn't mind it. I like seeing Jack out for revenge. I don't think he's going to die at the end.

I agree with 5wide...I don't mind it. In fact, I think it makes Jack even more "human", rather than this mindless, soulless soldier that just goes about his business. After everything that had just happened in the past hour, it was a logically conclusion.

Do I think he would have still shot her if she had cooperated in the first place, and not had to have been threatened into telling where the "evidence" was hidden...and had she not taken out Cole and called the cops on Jack...and not just tried to kill him herself prior to running out of bullets...the answer is, no. But, you factor all of that in with the Renee's death, and it's too much to expect for anyone to take the high road...even Jack Bauer. It may not make him "right", but like I said, it makes him human.

I think he gave her her chance and she blew it. From her perspective though, I can see why she took the chance. If she gives Jack what he wants, she's dead at the hands of the Russians. If she can pull off the escape, she's got some leverage that may keep her alive. :idunno:

I'm glad she's dead. She was easily one of the characters I've disliked the most in the nine seasons of 24. Maybe as high as #2. The top spot will forever be reserved for Kim Bauer.

This is how you end a series...

Flat out excellent ending to one of the best shows in TV history. Can't wait for the movie(s)...

Agreed! Mondays are now just.....well booooo!

Excellent final episode...felt like I was watching the end of the Truman Show movie, with him on the drone.

Charles Logan one of the best tv villians?

Charles Logan one of the best tv villians?

Hard to argue that one. He was someone you had no choice but to hate every time he was in a scene. Great character...

:thumb: Some very nice twists. The only bone to pick is Logan giving the SIM card to the President? He is going to step on that thing and eliminate the evidence. I do think they have a nice movie set up in place.

I thought they did a good job ending the series.

I'm glad they left the door open for Charles Logan to still be around. He's too good to eliminate.
