Today was for Junior/Senior catchers and pitchers with a couple others mixed in. They had a couple new faces that were not there in the past. Win or loose this year, it will be the making of something special for years to come. Oh, btw, is my scaffolding still yellow?:D

Who was this?

Who was this?

Just some position players that didn't have to be there yet but went to help out. Actually heard one of them showed some moves at first base.

I heard it was some seniors that wanted to help out with drills. If so, they are setting a great example. I'll have to check on the "moves".

What will the Birds new outfits look like this yr. Will they be the same or are there some new threads on the way.

I heard they are the same uni's, but the lids are different.

I liked the old-school stiching around the vent holes on the previous lids. Are they going with a modern fish-net style like most of the colleges?

Any word from try-outs?

Come on guys. No posts in over a week - we're loosing momentum.:idunno:

Let's hear some chatter out there!

How'd tryouts go? When will we see a roster? Any surprises?

I know that there is more depth at the varsity level than there has been in quite a while. There are 3 legit catchers and all 3 can player other positions so you don't have to wear one out.

Looks like there will be 17 on varsity. 12 seniors and 5 juniors. Not sure if they will add anymore. It seems to be a solid squad.

I heard a few 8th graders made the JV squad. Solid

WOW!! Can you list the roster yet?

Go to the Fort Thomas Schools website and go under athletics and click on the baseball team website link. You can get the roster for the varsity team on the baseball team website. No roster posted for the JV as yet.
