You guys just don't get it. I love what Highlands has accomplished. I am NOT diminishing anything. I'll say it one more time. Highlands football program is awesome.

 

Now, when you move up and win 6A your can claim to be #1 will have some validity.

How many "Best teams in the State" did Trinity play? ONE How many defending state champs? NONE.

So in '98 when HHS won state and beat the AAAA state champion they couldn't claim #1 because they didn't win the AAAA title?

Come on Birdsfan, you know better than that. I am in no way suggesting that Highlands is anything but a top notch program. Just please tell me how your camp can continually make such claims when you are not playing the best teams in the state. Like I said, come on up.

I didn't hear any such claims. I don't really see why the Trinity folks need to invade a thread that had nothing to do with them and in which they were not even mentioned.

All Highlands would have to do is pick up 10 of NCC's players that live in Ft.Thomas and IMO they take Trinity.

I thought that was a body zone.

I think it is good that Trinity and Highlands have this little friendly competition going. It gives both of them a little extra incentive, not that they really need it.

It's a shame Trinity keeps dodging us, I really feel like we would kick their ... next year!!!
