I know your track Record. It is pretty obvious who you voted for. Remmeber the Louisville - Kentucky game about 4 years ago you said if UK won you would quit posting.

KNOWITALL joined in November of 2007. Now how in the heckfire would you know about a post that I made 4 years ago? And to answer your question, no I don't, because I didn't say it, obviously...

Show me...If you know my track record as well as you say you do, you'd know that I'm a stand up guy when it comes to "eating crow." If I'm wrong, I can admit it...

IU had a decent showing against Gonzaga a few nights ago didn't they ? Or was that a game where the final score was much closer than it actually was ?

IU may be bad but UK is by no means a great team. I'd be thrilled with a 10 point win. It honestly wouldn't surprise me to see IU win though.

They lost by 16. And it wasn't that close.

I'm not sure UK could keep it within 16 of the Zags. They have a tough squad.

What I was saying is that if UK wins this game by less than 10 it doesn't mean much in my opinion. IU could come out hot and keep it close. Heck, they could win the game.

A win would be great. An awesome performance and a 30 or 40 point win would be even better. I just don't think UK's season hangs on this game.

UK should win this game, if they don't...then...I don't know what

I don't either but if you lose to a team that returned 2 players, one of whom was a walkon, you have major major issues and im not just talking about this year.

If Gillispie loses to this IU team their has to be some more people questioning if he's right for the job.

If I'm a UK fan this is one of those games that you just can not lose.

I agree. I think opposing teams come in with full confidence and the majority of the time they play one of their best games of the season. I don't see any reason to be intimidated when you play at Rupp. Its almost like playing in front of cardboard cutouts of people.

You act like people are afraid to go into Michigan to play the Wolverines. That's laughable at best.

How many times have you been to Rupp to watch a game? Everytime I've went it's been extremely loud.

I agree with Wireman. Rupp's atmosphere isn't that good at all. I was impressed with Purdue's atmosphere the other night. :thumb:

I'm not saying the atmosphere is that great. Simply stating that it's tougher for opponents to go into Rupp and win then it is for them to go into Michigan and get a win.

Kentucky 70-56.

You seem to go out of your way to do anything you can to prove anything I say is wrong or just totally bizarre. :fight:

Anyone that actually knows anything at all about college athletics would state (like everyone else on here) that Rupp Arena has a terrible COLLEGE basketball atmosphere. Yeah, its loud when UK goes on a 20-2 run and has 5 dunks and some 3-pointers in there, but it is not a great atmosphere by any means. The folks in the lower arena sleepwalk through every game (well except for the games against lower level competition that they decide to not come to at all) and then act almost offended if you sit in the lower arena and actually cheer.

In the Michigan game, everyone in the arena was wearing Michigan yellow shirts and they were jumping up and down and screaming for 40 consecutive minutes. There wasn't a time in the game when they stopped making noise and harrassing the Duke players. It was the same thing at Purdue the other night and its always the same way at Cameron Indoor. Those are great college basketball atmospheres. Rupp Arena is more like a glorified NBA crowd.

I'm not saying the atmosphere is that great. Simply stating that it's tougher for opponents to go into Rupp and win then it is for them to go into Michigan and get a win.

Gardner Webb? VMI? Vanderbilt? Alabama? San Diego?

Those teams really seemed to be shaking in their hightops the last 3 seasons.

I have been correct on some pretty big ones - and each time, I was ridiculed over and over on here. When UK sat at 7-9 last season, I predicted 12 SEC wins and an NCAA tourney birth. On here, I would've had the same result predicting that Jesus was coming back in December.

Is he coming back in December????????
