Concerning Homers, Bell and Boyle both had more penalties than their opponets last week and they were both at home. I would say it is because they both are very agressive! Just an opinon!

Yes, that'd be him. He's just as dangerous punting, theres several videos of him on youtube. And in my opinion Bell has one of the best visitors sides around, seeing as how its identical to the home side just without the press box.

There is more than enough room on the visitors side, Bell County all together seats a lot of people, I'd guess around 4,500 - 5,000, plus the track where everyone stands.

There was a lot of snow and ice on it when you played Rock for it to have been covered but it did not have any thing to do with the outcome. IMO field conditions would have to affect both teams equally regardless of the shape.

The field at first wasn't covered, the snow was supposed to have came in the AM hours, but it hit during the day so, there's the reason behind most of that. And feild conditions shouldn't be an issue regardless the better team will win.

Is that not what I said? Field conditions would have to effect both teams the same equally and had no outcome on the game.

The tarp was taking off Thursday night so they could paint the field. The snow was unexpected. We worked on the field from 9:30 that morning until about 2:00pm that afternoon. We hauled the snow off with a Rhino 4 wheeler between the hatches. The field was in good shape inside the hatches though.

Bell has a nice field , much nicer than Boyle's. Should be a good game.

Really, didnt know our field was better.

None of the remarks I hear about the field being hosed down by fire trucks before big games are true are they? I have heard so many "be careful in the mountains, they'll cheat you" stories that I simply do not believe anything I hear anymore. I had to mention the fire truck hosing the field down though. I thought that was the best one.

 

Gonna be a rough week of weather. Rain/snow mix 3 days this week not including the chances friday.

I have seen both teams play, Bell Co. I feel thought Knox would be fairly easy, but Bell is to strong for Boyle. I hope Boyle wins but, Bell is to strong.

Bell County can be a difficult place to play, one of the most hostile venues in the state. Bolye simply has better athletes with more speed, plus they are better coached.
