I agree 1991 was a while ago don't think that has anything to do with it. Bell Co will have to play their best game of the season to pull this one off against the #1 team in 4A.

Agreed. 1991 has nothing to do with this game, nor do the polls. Bell County will have to play mistake free football in my mind to pull this out. I think they are capable of doing it. Also, they'll have to limit the penalties. This is the top two teams in 4A, and they're both going to be out to prove why they should each be #1. Friday cant get here soon enough!:dancingpa

May not even make it to 21, both defenses look to be pretty stingy. Plus a possible sloppy feild, as it is still raining/snowing, and supposed to do so through the week, could be a low scoring game.

I agree Leonidas, I feel a 21 will win it. More than likely even lower. Both teams have a good defence, and this is the time of the year that the defence makes a difference.

I feel this will be a low scoring game. Both teams have great defense. I'm not to sure on the Boyle players stats, but the Bell County Defense has some solid tacklers. A soph. is over 100 on the year, and a couple other players up over 50. Plus the Bell D has some major playmakers at DB with Raines and the elder Davenport at corners and Zachery rotating in and out with Madon at safety. Raines has now 5 picks on the year, he's a serious playmaker on both sides of the ball thats very dangerous. I can help but feel special teams is going to win it for the Bobcats though.

Actually I think it's worked up to be the best of all possible showdowns and like someone else has posted, I expect BCHS to pull it out.

I agree with both of you that 21 points will win the game. I also believe that whoever wins this game will win it all. You know the old saying, offence sales tickets and defence wins champships. Both defence are solid and have good personel and that is why I think both offences will struggle.

I still think the rebels will win 20-7. Boyle's extra point team has had a extra point blocked the last game. And have come close to having one block in the last 5 or 6 games.

How many seniors does Boyle start on Off and Def.?

 

Bell I think has 6 on offense and 4 on defense that are seniors.
