How do you know that is all I have saw them play? How do you know where my knowledge of WCHS football is limited to? How do you know everyone that I know?

 

A lot of people who have never even saw the Colonels in person are making the same claims, TM.

This is the first trip this far for WCHS. Highlands has made at least 18 trips this far.

 

I gave you some facts to back up what I had said earlier about 5A football, Mountain teams and the Semi-Finals. (Thanks again, gchs!)

 

ALSO, they were never down by more than a handful of points to Pulaski.

 

I am talking 12-14 points or more. Being down by a score and responding is one thing. Being down in a real hole and responding is another. Your heart shows when you have to come back from a large deficit.

 

Last time WCHS saw a REAL deficit was the Bell County game. What was the response then? This team that WCHS faces now is as good, or better, than the Bell County squad that blasted on Whitley.

Just saying it has been awhile since the Colonels had to do some on the field soul searching. Much of it has been easy, this week changes things.

 

Good season against a good schedule. Win and advance to the point you find a team that is athletically superior. Happens to a lot of us, TM. No shame in it, just how it is.

Whitley Co. will have a tough time in this one. I think JC had the chance to pull the upset against Highlands, but Whitley may be a little over-matched in this one. I'll pick the Blubirds by 3+ scores. I hope Whitley can get some breaks and have a shot late to win it, but I just don't see it.

If Whitley can't defend the pass, they're going to be in for a long night. Highlands killed JC by passing and could have made the score worse than it was had they passed a little more. (Only attempted 10 passes to 27 rushes.)

The Keys to a Highlands victory will be to play their usual game and not make moistakes . Whitley Co will have to play a perfect game to win this one .

I don't know that a perfect game would be enough. BS played as well as they could have and still got beat, when HHS hardly looked at their peak

That is impressive great information I knew they have dominated for years but that truly show it.

Your knowledge of Whitley is limited to what you saw at one game, and saw on the boards and newspapers.

I'll give Highlands the upper hand in this contest because they do have superior athlete's .Being able to pick and choose from all the athletes in northern kentucky helps.
