Yea, TJ wants out, but the Bengals cannot afford to let him go. Let's face it, the francise is Carson. They have to franchise TJ, cut ties with Chad and build a line that can protect Palmer and creates a running game. No way Mikey Boy doesn't dig deep to hang on to TJ, no matter how bad he wants out.

I really hope that do something with him in the offseason. I really doubt that TJ is coming back but really do you blame him? Didn't he come back one more year to do the Bengals a favor? IMO sign TJ to a big deal.

 

You pay TJ as much as he wants and you take it from Chad's salary.

 

TJ is going no where. It is a virtual lock that he is franchised, which means he gets the salry that he wants anyhow.

I can see franchising him, but no chance would I sign a 32 year old to a long term deal, especially with the money he wants.

If you are right, then all the more reason why Mike Brown doesn't know what he is doing. Any one who signs a 32-year old who can't go deep to a long-term, big money contract is nuts.

The time to cut the line was two years ago, if it's not done this offseason things will continue to get worse for the Bengals organization.

I said it a couple of years ago and got slammed. He is all about Chad! You don't win in the ultimate team game with "look at me guys" most of the time. Typical Cincy front office blowing it again! They could have gotten 2 1st rounders for him before but instead they keep a cancer and won't get as much. I don't think they can let TJ go myself. I say move Chad for as much as you can and move on!

Honestly I think they should move CJ, and keep TJ. It's apparent he doesn't want to be here. TJ may not want to be here but he still gives 100% and doesn't poison the locker room. I would cut bait with CJ and his agent, too bad it didn't work out, he's a fine WR, but too much of a liability. TJ on the other hand, was a 7th rounder, who's a better all around WR than his countepart. Tag him and go from there. Addition by subtraction.

If you know what a Franchise tag is, it's to the benefit of the team, not the player. The player gets his pay, which is obvioulsy what TJ wants, but keeps the organization from having to commit unless the player has the long rage ability to live out his contract. TJ wll be back with the Bengals, and at the cost that it will take to keep him, it's a deal.

 

Do you think that Carson in any way would allo this organization to let him go? Please, there is no way that Carson would stand for letting both TJ & CJ go. He will have no issue, and likely would be happy to see CJ go, but he HAS to have TJ.

Some of us did catch some BGP flak for using the "c word" a year or two ago. And we're now an injured shoulder and an injured ankle later.
