November 21, 200817 yr He murdered two children in Warsaw. Their mother survived by playing dead after being robbed, raped and stabbed 15 times. Chapman asked for all his appeals to be stopped. He feels he deserves the death penalty and has made his peace with God. Chapman is only the third person to be executed in Kentucky since the death penalty was reinstated.

He also attempted to murder another child who somehow survived. I don't remember if she escaped or played dead. Hopefully his execution will someway bring something positive to the surviving victims.
November 21, 200817 yr For the people who are not for the death penalty. Just think about this. If someone murdered your children, robbed, raped and stabbed your wife 15 times. Would you still be against it? I personally would want a front row seat for it! If I didn't get to him first!

I'm against the death penalty in general, but this situation is an exception for me for several reasons, primarily because its what Chapman wants.
