March 7, 201016 yr I loved the P90X other than I have hurt the joint in my pinki toe for life. It's funny because I think of the movie Harlem Nights "He shot me in my pinki toe" but honestly I hurt it pushing off so much with P90 and after researching it looks like it will probably be a problem forever. I loved it and it's as good as I've felt in a long time. The one gripe I have is that it is too long especially the yoga. It's hard to carve out that much time with 2 kids, work and coaching. I ended up doing the 2 a days though. I did one before work and the other about 9:00 at night. I really think I'm going to get Insanity. I'd love to here from those of you that do it. In fact I'm going to start a thread now.
March 8, 201016 yr Yoga tomorrow. I've never done Yoga at all, is there anything I should know going in?

March 8, 201016 yr Yoga tomorrow. I've never done Yoga at all, is there anything I should know going in? It wouldn't be a bad idea to kind of skim through it first before diving right in. It is a series of repetitive, moving asanas and I spent my first couple of times looking up at the tv and trying to follow along. Just remember the main thing with yoga is proper deep breathing. Tony is pretty good at reminding you to breathe through the stretches.

March 8, 201016 yr I have been thinking about trying to get a copy of the yoga workout from P90X just to improve my flexibilty. It has improved my overall general fitness. I am convinced it is why I have become a stronger runner the past few months.
November 29, 201015 yr I am starting Monday, wish me luck. Starting tomorrow as well. Getting 9 portions of good protein a day is gonna be pretty chalenging.
November 29, 201015 yr For those that have the P90 and the P90X is there much difference? Yes, huge difference in intensity. Power90 is the precursor to P90X, much less intense. It is an excellent starter point for someone that wants to eventually do P90X, but has not worked out at all for a long time. It is my belief, however, that most anyone can do P90X, with modifications.
November 29, 201015 yr Starting tomorrow as well. Getting 9 portions of good protein a day is gonna be pretty chalenging. I've been through P90X six complete times, as well as a hybrid of P90X and Insanity. I am also a Beachbody distributor, known formally as a "coach". I would be more than happy to help you and answer any questions you might have, just PM me if you wish. Good luck to you. FYI--egg whites and chicken breasts are both great ways to get more protein blocks. I remember my husband eating 6 or 9 egg whites in his omelet when we were in our first phase 1.
December 8, 201015 yr For all those out there that did p90x did you guys follow it pretty strictly as in working out 7 days a week for the first 90 days? If not how did you determine when and what do skip. Honestly I juts do not have the time to work out every single day. I have done 3 a week for the first 2 weeks. It's hard to follow the schedule when you are skipping around. Any advice?
