November 18, 200817 yr This is a thread for anyone doing the P90x workout to track progress or whatever Started the workout tonight: Day 1 was chest/back and ab ripper. Pullups killed me, I was sweating so much and only made it about half way thru the ab work out and had to vomit:creepy: This thing has a lot of reading, bout to head out to the grocery, going to be doing the fat shredder diet first! Day 1: weight 202.6 lbs at 5'11. Hoping to get to 190 or so. I'm in pretty good shape to start with but my core is where I need work, the rest is pretty good. After 90 days I'll show my before and after. So anyone else doing this right now?
November 18, 200817 yr Author My roommate is good about planning diets so he's making up the diet plan. There is absolutely ZERO doubt in my mind that if stuck to, this thing will shread anyone!

This is where I decided not to do it. I don't care who you are, if you eat right and work out hard for over an hour every day for six days a week, you are going to be shredded.

Works for me because I struggle to motivate myself and if I am I quickly plateu so this is ideal for me!
November 18, 200817 yr Works for me because I struggle to motivate myself and if I am I quickly plateu so this is ideal for me! If I could get motivated to do that, I could motivate myself to just do it on my own. Maybe that's just me. I have been circuit training hard for about a month now and am very pleased with the results so far.
November 18, 200817 yr Personally, I can not get into things like that. About 4 months go I began training in Jeet Kune Do/Mixed Martial Arts, mainly because I have been interested in Martial Arts and self defense for a long time. But also because doing the gym routine got boring. I quit going to the gym for about 6 months because I started to hate it, after about 3 years of going 3-5 days per week. Last month I started doing not only MMA/JKD but Kick boxing too for 2.5 hours on Tuesdays/Thursdays, and I go in to the gym and spar/roll for an hour or so on Fridays or Saturdays. I still mix in some circuit workouts in my basement (my roommate has a ton of equipment) but I do not lift nearly as much as I used to. I try to eat healthy, but sometimes it is hard considering I don't know how to cook much, and I get tired of sandwiches real quick. However, I have started avoiding candy/soda etc. So far, just from that I can tell a difference. I was starting to gain some fat due to the fact that I had quit lifting and wasn't eating very good, but now I'm getting back to where I was before I quit lifting, and I'd say I'm in a lot better shape.
November 18, 200817 yr I did YogaX yesterday, be doing Legs and Back and AbRipperX tomorrow morning at 5:30. I'm in week 3 of phase 2 of my second round.
November 18, 200817 yr I've been working out for years and always thought just doing my own routine worked best for me. I usually work out 3 days a week and play basketball the other two, to keep from just getting bulky and big. Lately my work schedule has been brutal though so I haven't had much time to get in the gym. I still play basketball atleast two nights a week though.
November 18, 200817 yr Author Day 2, plyometrics in the books, my legs are absolutley quivering. about 15 mins into the workout my form was horrible and I didn't even resemble my former athletic prowess lol
