January 7, 201016 yr But I love it. The Cardio Plyo almost made me cry. The Cardio Power & Resistence wasn't as bad. Can't tell you anymore because this is only day #3 for me. Like 20/20 said, Shaun T is really motivating at nearly the right time. What do you think of the warm-ups? Definitely caught me off guard the first time!
January 7, 201016 yr I am going to buy p90x here in a minute. I've been watching videos on YouTube and reading the responses you guys (and girls) have provided on BGP, which I trust a bit more, and now I am convinced. Hopefully, after 90 days I am "ripped." Really - I am not overweight or heavy. I can "in shape," as I can play sports and run and that stuff. I am just not "toned." Do it! I'm betting it will be one of the better investments you've made for your health in a while. Plus, if you commit fully to the program, you'll likely end up in the best shape of your life at the end. Best part is, it's so much cheaper than the gym! Edited January 7, 201016 yr by 20/20Hindsight
January 7, 201016 yr What do you think of the warm-ups? Definitely caught me off guard the first time! Yes, day 1 warm ups were rediculious. As I was working through the warm ups I was thinking this isn't too bad, by the time I finished the warmups I was drenched and near exhaustion. Then the real workout started. That's when I thoght, what did I do to myself.:ohbrother: Your going to have to let me know what this is like when you make it to month 2.
January 22, 201016 yr What do you think of the warm-ups? Definitely caught me off guard the first time! How's month 2 going? I'm 2 and a half weeks in and 10 lbs. lighter. Just now starting to see some significant results, like the formation of a six pack again!
January 23, 201016 yr I did not do pics because at 273 I was more nasty then I am now. So much work to do.
January 23, 201016 yr No before/after pics with all these people doing P90?? I will provide them in about 30 days, and then 60, and then 90...

February 27, 201016 yr I'm in my first week of the P90X. I can see why I'm going to lose weight. I'm too darn sore to walk to the kitchen to get something to eat.
February 27, 201016 yr I really think I want to try this. Is there one where you don't need equipment?
February 27, 201016 yr I really think I want to try this. Is there one where you don't need equipment? Insanity! It's all cardio and put out by the same company. Any strength training in the program uses your own body weight for resistance. Personally, I prefer Insanity over P90X for this reason. However, as the name of the program suggests, the workouts are absolutely INSANE!
