That's why I only pay attention to the BGP rankings. :thumb:

Trigg beat both Murray and Caldwell and is ranked behind both

 

Fort Campbell played with a backup QB against the #4 team in 4A and drops two spots.

 

Beechwood drops to #2 after losing to the #2 team in 2A.

 

I'm not sure why it's an automatic amongst AP voter to drop teams that lose

Beechwood at #2 is a shock, I think that number will change in the next 5 games.

I disagree with Beechwood at #2 in 1A, Fort Campbell at #3 in 2A, and Lousiville Central at #4 in 3A. Everything else looks pretty good for the most part.

 

If people think that Central is the 4th best team in 3A they will be in for an extremely rude awakening. Central played one of the toughest, if not the toughest, schedules in the state but it seems the AP voters don't totally recognize that.

 

All 3 teams I mentioned above, IMO, should be ranked higher.

Why is a 10-0 team being #1 a shock? I know Beechwood will still be the favorite in Class A, but there are other good teams out there. Raceland's pretty good.

I agree with you on all three accounts. As a Fort Campbell fan it doesn't bother me too much that the AP voters dropped them two spots since what really matters is what happens the next five games. I tend to go with the BGP rankings anyway, but I understand both arguments.

Interesting how Hopkinsville was ranked #9 after beating Mercer Co, then won their last 3 over 5A opponents and are no longer ranked in either the AP or the BGP poll.:confused:
