Don't swallow their analysis and conclusions without researching others. As a CPA I can tell you that they've left out and skewered quite a bit.

My son came home from his Social Studies class in which the teacher is a liberal and had been panting the picture to these 10 year olds about how great Obama was.

 

I asked my son if he knew what an abortion was. He said he did not.

I explained to him that some people kill their unborn child and there are some people including Obama in the Democrat party that think that is acceptable for this country to allow to him.

 

He was horrified that someone would choose to kill their unborn child and that others would say it was okay.

 

He went to school and told his friends about it and despite the teacher's best efforts his group of friends never again liked Obama.

 

I was truly proud of him for standing up for the most important issue we have out there.

 

I'd have a problem with a 10 year old discussing abortion rights with my 10 year old son or daughter. There is a time and a place for parents to have that discussion with their own children. A parent should determine when that time is appropriate. Imparting your beliefs through your child to other children who may have parents that don't agree with your view is irresponsible and quite frankly wrong.

I really don't know. I used to take him and his brother and sister with me when I voted. I always told them never vote for someone because mom or dad voted for them. Do your own research and vote for whomever you feel is best.

On election day he went with me and pushed the buttons for my vote, and then he got to vote himself on a piece of paper at the Kids Vote table. Totally disregarding electioneering laws, he responded to a question from someone by loudly announcing "I'm voting for John McCain" causing some in the adult line (including long-time Bardstown Tiger head coach Joey Downs) to tell me I had "brainwashed him (accurate)."

 

Election night, Sam kept coming downstairs from bed to check who was "winning."

 

The following morning, the first question he had when he woke up was "did McCain win?" When I told him "no" he started to cry. Now, part of this is because Sam hates to lose, period. If we're watching a football game and the team I am pulling for falls behind on the scoreboard, he'll start cheering for the winning team. He's such a front-runner.

 

But that morning as I drove him to school and he was still whining, I asked him why he was upset and he told me that "Obama is going to come to our front door and tell us to give him all of our money. Then you won't be able to buy me any airplanes (his favorite toy)."

 

Now, part of that is 'ol dad brainwashing him, but who am I to say, at this point in time, that 'ol Sam is really that far from the truth?

The purpose of an abortion is to prevent a baby from being born.

 

"Abortion" doesn't happen when saving the life of the mother. In that case, the baby is prematurely removed from the womb to save one life. Also, they don't stick scissors in the head and cut out the brain of the infant in that situation- every attempt is made to save the life of the baby.
