I heard Bryan Station is a talented team. I hope the Birds do not come in to this one thinking it will be like Lincoln County or Letcher, last season.

I sure hope it isnt like last season's first two playoff opponents. Game over by halftime IMO. Bryan station athletic or not has no clue what they are getting themselves into this Friday night.

 

Just ask that other athletic team from Madison County how hard it is to score and also stop the Birds offense.

 

Bryan Station doesn't have the depth or quality of skill players of Madison Central, but they do have some HUGE lineman. The Birds smaller, but quicker defense will stuff anything Bryan Station tries to run IMO. Madison Central would beat BS by at least 5 TDs and you saw what happened in Ft. Thomas last week.

 

And I agree with UFDynasty that Station got the shaft with the tie breaker, their team is leaps and bounds better than they were the past few seasons, heck they gave away their game with 6A Lex district champ Lafayette or they would have been undefeated against the (terrible) 6A district teams they played.

Offense maybe. I talked with HHS head coach himself this week and he told me that the coaches as a whole think their defense is not where they want them to be. I know crazy isn't, but trust me I know. Starters will play at least till the 4th if not the game. Don't shoot the messenger.

Station definitely got a bad break in the tiebreaker. They are a good team, very athletic with some excellent players. I was very impressed by them when they came to Johnson Central. If they had gotten a different draw, they would probably be good enough to win a few games in the 5A playoffs. That being said, no way they win at Highlands. Bluebirds by as many as they want.

The folks in Fort Thomas will be impressed with some of the athletes on the Bryan Station roster. Dr. Oliver Lucas has done a great job in the last couple of years at Bryan Station. The Defenders are improving and do have some top notch players for the Bluebirds to contend with, just not good enough yet to win on the road.

Big kids and well coached but this game wont be close. Highlands will need to sub early, dont need to risk anyone getting hurt.:dancingpa
