I'm not sure how much Romo would have helped today.

I think Dallas had to look at the Tampa+Giants without Romo and pray for a split. I don't think it's panic time but I do think they need to have a heart check during the off week. The last TD by Ward when Jenkins just stopped so he wouldn't have to hit him might have been the worst individual effort on a play I've seen in the Pros!

Dallas need to get healthy and play with heart. They do that and they will be fine I think. If the injuries keep piling and they don't find the heart then it's so long to this season.

The Giants are the best TEAM other than myabe the Titans in the NFL RIGHT NOW. Anything can happen in this crazy league.

Romo would make a difference

1-The overrated offnesive line looks much better when they have a qb in the game can move.

2-Defenses would not be able to blitz as often

3-The receivers would play like they want to be in the game knowing the ball can actually get to them when they go deep

4-Play calling would not be as Jr. High like it has been since the other two have been showing they are not worth of being in the league

5-The defense of the Boys would not be on the field so often that they have been ask to start paying rent.

If they were playing at full strength and were playing this bad then yes I would agree. BUT, you got to look at whats happened to the Cowboys this season. They are without Romo, they are without big play threat Felix Jones, without Roy Williams SS who is a force in run coverage, without their two top corners in Newman and Pacman, without Mcbriar who is possibly the best punter in the league and who almost always has the Cowboys winning the field position battle, and Jason Witten now has a broke rib. You take any team, no matter who they are and take away that many starters and play makers and you are going to struggle. QB is the most obvious loss being that Johnson is now simply horrible. The game has passed him up, he makes horrible positions, cannot even move around in the pocket to avoid sacks, and the only throws he makes are check down throws. Bollinger didn't even get in until the second half, and without any pt this season of course isn't going to get you much, I mean he is the third string QB.

 

 

So with that said, to me this just signifies how important last weekends win versus Tampa Bay truly was. You get a bye week next week then in the week or two following you get almost everyone back at or close to full strength. Meaning the offense will start to find itself again, and the Defense will start to gain some continuity. With just four losses right now, the season is not loss. Get everyone back healthy, focus on one week at a time, finish on a strong note, and get to the playoffs then go from there. It has been a tough month but like said things can only get better with everyone starting to come back healthy.

Romo would have made a big difference, and that is because Johnson is so bad the offense doesn't stay on the field long enough to give the defense a rest. The defense is not that good to start with, without Newman, Jones and Williams if they can't stay off the field they have no chance of beating a good team like the Giants.

As for the Cowboys, I really admired and respected them in the days of Tom Landry, Roger Staubach, L.R. Jordan and those guys. Love them or hate them the Cowboys were a class organization. That is certainly no longer the case.Todays Cowboys along with their owner imo are a sad representation of what the Cowboys once were as well as what they stood for. Whether or not someone liked them, the Cowboys were class. That is certainly not the case now.

 

As for this game and the Giants, I think it is safe to say that they are the best team in pro football right now.
