Everytime someone says something about Highlands, there accused of being Highlands haters...Thats craziness in my opinion, I have alot of respect for Highlands and there football program, they came to Bell with a hostal environment and played a very good team and won...But the fact is they did use Mitchell and wasnt soppose to either...

I think the Cov Cath fans have the most to complain about because if HHS didn't make the playoffs I believe CCH with their big o line would have been in Louisville.

This is the first thread I have ever read where all you had to do was hit the refresh button to read a new post.

What was Mueller suppose to do???? The court said he could play so he let him play. Now the court says he can't play so Mueller won't play him until this gets overturned again by the end of the week. If I was Mitchell's dad and a court said my son could play and Mueller wouldn't play him I would sue Highlands. What was Mueller suppose to do??????? :mad: :mad: :mad:

 

The school system should have stepped in and said no to the transfer to play. I could cite you an example, from this year, where a high level athlete wanted to transfer to another school because of coaching. But, the school system would not allow it.

 

I could also cite you an example of a very athletic kid that transfered from a school to another school for financial reasons. This kid had to sit out a year.

 

You can't blame the KHSAA on this or anyone else except the HHS authorities.

I agree with 85 Rebel all the way! Play him what is the KHSAA going to do make you forfeit all 15 games? You will still have the hardware. Boyle will be prepared and nothing is going to distract them from winning #6.

 

I for one don't think Highlands is a bunch of cheaters and when you have won 15 titles I know some people get sick of hearing about it but hey you should be proud of that. I think it was a gut call by Mueller and now it is time to suffer the consequences and play without Mitchell.

Think back to Corbin a few years ago with Brad Lawson.

 

When he was ruled Ineligible to play HE didn't play because of this exacts same situation.

 

Btw Corbin went on the play In the Class 2A State Finals that season ,They did get blown out by Breathitt County but still he could have made a difference.

I know and I think they would have. Remember the Washington Hogs? They loved the mud and I see this year's CCH team that way. Just playing some of the what if game. I agree it is mute.
