I fully understand it, I wasn't letting it get to me by no means, rather trying to save his face in light of the accusations and how other member will feel towards him/her.

Birdsfan have hit it on the nose. The player in question was rule eligible to play up to now. The Courts have over turn the ruling and have declared the player in question ineligible for the State Title game only. So thats means there should not be any forfeits on Highlands part, as again the player in question was eligible to play. The 3A Title game will go on as plan this Sat. 11:30am. Between Highlands and Boyle Co. Which is the way it should be.

Except, you have it all backwards. I would say that Mitchell was never elligible. I'm certain the KHSAA never thought he was elligible.

Its ok that Highlands posters put things like Highlands 15 Bell 10....Plus ask how it feels, because it does hurt to know that we lost, but we still whipped Highlands tails for pretty much the whole game...Highlands game out on top but Bell beat Highlands in every way a team could beat a team accept for the score on the scoreboard...

 

I still think Shawn Robbins was in when he streched in for the TD on the one yard line...

I think this will go on and on and on and on. Alot of what if's, etc. However this plays out the kids are the one's hurt by this. Highlands always produces good football teams but the coach's decision to play Mitchell when he knew the ruling could be overruled seems to be of a win at all costs mindset. He took a chance and as a result many, many people are effected by this decision.

Birdsfanatic, if you responded that immaturely to a statement that was the truth, you may need to move to the 2 years old and younger forum.

You should quote the entire post and put the comments you didn't like in bold. I didn't think he was out of line- both of the things you didn't like are facts at the moment: Mitchell was not elligible and people were called Highland haters for saying something about Highlands.

Whether Robbins scored or not doesnt matter, please lets keep this civil, Highlands won. Period point blank. But that doesnt make your actions Birdsfanatic acceptable. Like I said, this is about here and now, and Mitchell is ineligiable, accept it Birdsfanatic.

If you want to taunt everyone on here that is saying Highlands is cheaters and saying Highlands was wrong for using Mitchell through out the season and playoffs, then you would have ALOT of post to make...You just made that statement toward me trying to be immature...But thats ok because i've got class and I said congrats and I hope you do well in the playoffs...

I have a feeling if this stays up it could break the all time reply record! I would venture to say that it has broken the record for hits in a day. The only funny thing about this whole thing is that this thread will have more hits then the Notre Dame fires their coach thread! Guess this shows our passion for KY High School Football!

Powerhouse Bell has been Bird bashing every since the week before the Bell/Highlands game. I'm sick of it. Now that Highlands has another fire to put out he has to try to fuel it. :fire:
