Have to put a plug in for Glaser. Undefeated, nationally ranked as high as #2. Only had three starters back on offense and replaced a lot of the defense as well. Despite his tremendous record at X, he has never won a coach of the year award, which I find remarkable.

Quite often, coaches like Glaser, who do a tremendous job every year, get overlooked because of the constant success they have. I didnt realize that in his distinguished career, he had never won the state COY award. He is undoubtably a strong candidate. We could start every season with St. X, Trinity, and Highlands coaches as strong candidates and never be wrong and this is from an Eastern Ky guy!:thumb:

I agree...John has taken a team that went 2-8 last year to District champs 7-1...He has turned a stail mate program into one that all can be excited about!!! Returning almost everyone with a diferent attitude and gleam in their eye....Go Falcons!:dancingpa

Coach Berner from Fort Campbell has turned what many expected as a rebuilding year into another championship run. He only has 10 seniors on his young team, but has managed to maintain a #1 ranking since the start of the year.

My vote would be Jerry Herron at Williamsburg. One of the smallest football playing schools in the state, but he has them at 8-1, won his district, and in the playoffs. He does a whole lot with marginal talent.

This doesn't mean a thing these days. Almost every tam in the state can lay claim to that unfortunately.

The head coach for Bellevue should be in the running! He is having an excellent season this year he has really turned around there team.

Reed Fields from Bath Co. He has taken the program from 0 wins 4 years ago, to a regular season 7 wins last season and hopefully another 7 wins this season and looks like Bath Co. will go deeper into the playoffs than we have in quite some time. My vote is for Reed!
