January 26, 200917 yr What do you mean you are at school working at 10:00 on a Sunday night and your superintendent is out driving the roads? I thought teachers only worked from 8 to 3 M through F?:jump: :lol: Good one! Yeah right!

I thought teachers only worked from 8 to 3 M through F?:jump: The students must think I live at school, because they are just so amazed to see me out anywhere...by the way, No School in Harrison County tomorrow. I would be surprised if HC goes any at all this week.
January 26, 200917 yr It will be nasty on Tuesday. 3 to 6 inches for Northern Kentucky with less snow south because of sleet and icing.

January 26, 200917 yr Certainly no winter storm yet and won't believe it until it happens. Maybe 2 inches here, already off the roads, except for slush. Absolutely do not trust anything the weathermen in this area say, winter or summer because of their record, still going to say for most in Northern Kentucky slushy, with very little snow(couple of inches). Everything north and south. Have been right so far this year because just go the opposite of what they say.
January 26, 200917 yr Some schools might be out all week if we get what they are saying we will get tonight.
January 26, 200917 yr Snow??? :scared: I better get to the grocery store..:laugh::laugh:
January 26, 200917 yr Author Yeah they are saying more snow with sleet tonight. Boone County out today but I am very glad b/c my kids have croup. :(
January 26, 200917 yr In class right now. Depending on the snow/ice tonight and what boone county does with their snow emergencies I might not have work in the morning .
January 26, 200917 yr Meteorologist has to be the best job ever...you can be wrong with your forecast 90 percent of the time but people still listen to you, and you dont lose your job for being wrong?!

Close to the Chesapeake Bay, not all that far from ocean beaches. You could look outside, it was raining and you KNEW it was going to rain all day. However, saying that is bad for business; so "mostly cloudy, chance of precipitation" would be a typical forecast for that kind of day.
