What a great choice! Here's a guy that grew up in Highlands baseball and has a true love for the school and for the game. I've known him since his days as a standout high school player; and I know this is a dream realized for him.

Great Hire!!! I think you will see Highlands baseball begin competing for titles with time. Coach Baioni will get the kids to continue playing baseball through high school! Congratulations! I think the job was open for like 77 days, 12 hours and 32 minutes... lol! :ylsuper:

Congrats to JB!! Definetly a great hire and I expect good things from HHS baseball for years to come. He is and always will be a Bluebird at heart and his passion and love for the game will be seen in his players on the field.

Congrats to JB. The good news is he will build on what Coach Mike Johnson left him and that is respectability again from NKY and yes a certain Cinti St X program that he defeated twice in the three yrs while he was at HHS. Mike was a neat guy that knew the game and loved the kids. I expect nothing less than that same type of quality out of JB.

Now the bad news is I would suspect JB will be ordering the new Flatbill hats that I hate so much to go along with the outfits.

The enthusiasm for baseball could be back in Fort Thomas. Just like in JB's senior year when a couple of varsity assistants taught the guys the RIGHT way to play the game. If it wasn't for these assistants, the program would have been taken to the cleaners!
