If this is how some Obama supporters behave....

This whole campaign is way way way out of hand.

Thanks Columbo, if only they'd had you at the seen....

No problem... No problem at all.

I refrained from commenting on this story earlier because it sounded fishy to me. Apparently, the alleged victim might have fabricated the entire story.

BTW, there was a lot of skepticism about this story in the right wing blogs from the moment it appeared in the media. We may never know whether this woman was truly a McCain supporter, an Obama supporter, or simply a sick woman looking for her 15 minutes of fame.

Police: McCain volunteer changes ATM attack story

PITTSBURGH – Pittsburgh police say a McCain campaign volunteer who said she was held down by a black man who cut the letter "B" in her face has changed her story.

Police spokeswoman Diane Richard says investigators gave the 20-year-old woman a lie-detector test and are "looking at some inconsistencies" in her story.

The student, Ashley Todd, of College Station, Texas, initially said a black man robbed her at knifepoint Wednesday night and then cut her cheek after seeing a McCain sticker on her car.

True that. And that can probably be extended to the reports of people allegedly shouting things like "kill him" at rallies, etc. I tend to take these "incidents" with a large grain of salt.

It is not just about production. You should read the entire explanation.

Personally, I think the bailout that Obama and McCain signed was bordering on Socialism and believe there are better ways to fix our problems than that bill.

I have read the entire explanation and have taken a class on the history of socialism and communism in college, as part of a history major. What I highlighted was one of the main foundations of socialism which is lacking in any attempt to paint Obama's plans and socialism "being one and the same." You should read the posts that are quoted, not just the response.

Even with Mapquest, RTS's home is hard to find.

What an idiot. Did she really think the police wouldn't figure this out?

I guess we all should have seen it coming with the B being backwards. What a twisted person to make up such a story. I hope they prosecute her to the fullest extent of the law.

Your response simply stated ...

They are NOT one in the same. Tell me where Obama is advocating collective ownership of the means of production?

My comment was that collective ownership of the means of production is not the only standard of socialism. And to be honest, Obama's health care plan (which does seem to have softened a bit from the primaries) is bordering on controlling that very industry. I don't believe that McCain has stated that Obama is a socialist as you seem to imply, but that some of his policies are bordering on socialism.

I also have my BA in communication studies where I took a few classes focused on political communication (eg. how they sell their plans to the public, what terms they use as opposed to what their plans actually are on both sides of the political spectrum). Yes, there are a few of us educated conservatives out here who can read.

Maybe we should change the title of this thread to:

If this is how some McCain supporters behave...

 BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

Well, that should cure me of believing "breaking news" reports....

Yeah...let the ink dry next time. :p

Where did I mention McCain in this thread? Where have I EVER advocated that I think that McCain thinks that Obama is a socialist? You will find the majority of my posts very positive in nature toward McCain.

For Obama's plan to be "one and the same" as socialism, it would need several additions. The point being - they are NOT one and the same.

Well, that should cure me of believing "breaking news" reports....

Have you put those bumper stickers on your car yet? :D
