Utley can flat out play this game, the Phillies were a WS record 0-13 with RISP, Utley went 2-4, 2rbi, HR, 2sb! The rays 2-3-4 hitters were 0-12 with 5 k's. Very well pitched game both ways, the Rays bullpen was very impressiv.

October 23, 200817 yr Fun game. I'm really going to just sit back and enjoy this. I didn't want to see either Boston or LA, so since both teams that I was pulling for made, I'm rooting for good games. If the rest of the series goes like last night, then it should be very enjoyable.
October 23, 200817 yr The Phillies get a win with their clear #1 starter. I think it's a good sign for the Rays. While I guess Kazmir is their #1, they have a lot more left. Also, I'm not sure Longoria, Upton and Pena have two off nights against the same pitcher. Upton left 5 on base. This is going to be a great series. At least the Rays won't get swept, they get to face Moyer at some point.

I did want to see the Dodgers in it just bc of Joe Torre. Going to be a fun world series.:thumb: I am not really pulling for any one team, am just going to enjoy watching some good baseball.
