Your All NKY Team. (To This Point)

You take Daniels, I'll take Kues. While he was injured against Holy Cross while playing defense, he plays a very aggressive safety. Oh yeah, week 2 he ran for 4 TDs against CovCath, and then threw for three against Ryle and Holy Cross successively. He's yet to throw a pick. If you haven't seen him play you do not appreciate his ability to control the game. Like I said, he may not knock out Guidugli b/c of how well Highlands O is playing, but there is not a more valuable player in NKY. You have to have him in there somewhere.

Agreed! :thumb:

I really think he's a good player, and I believe he's the best in NKY. Just my opinion... I think West is the 2nd best, he's got a lot of heart.

You're entitled to your opinion but....did you see the Highlands game?

Pound for pound but not THE best.

Never said the best, just one of the best.

true! lol but to be on the All anything team shouldn't you be the best?

True but look how little looks he gets because of the small schools. He is a very talented back and if he played at a bigger school he would be on the all team list.

Ricky Buckler is a quick, shifty back dont get me wrong, but he would not be on the "all team list", let alone play very much, if he played for some of the bigger schools [HHS, B-Wood, CovCath, etc.].

If that is #17 then I agree...he is a player!

Yes I believe he is #17 not sure though.

Reyes is very good and is getting some looks from some colleges. I think he is projected though for more of a corner or safety in college (some sort of DB). Someone told me that he was getting some interest from Purdue and a couple of other Northern Schools.

Actually, not to put the kid down or anything, but if he were at a bigger school he wouldn't even be seeing the field as much as he does now.

Buckler is a nice players and is in a good situation at Bellevue because he fits their system well but at a school like Highlands he would be the 5th string Rb behind Crawford, JC, Head and Finnell.

He may start at a few of the smaller schools but wouldn't at any of the big schools.

Guidugli is the best QB hands down. Not only does he have the best stats, but he is actually playing in better competition than West, and has the best size and speed for any Qb around here. Isler.. not the best candidate I dont think he is even in the top 5.

Not speed. You can't say any of this until you've watched more than Highlands play. He also leads the area in passing yards, but not TDs and he has thrown 5 int's. He is very good, but not hands down the best.

:rolleyes:I always love a thread that can turn into a Highlands and Beechwood lovefest!

You didn't hear those are the only high school football teams in northern Ky. :fight:

Apparently he hasn't read too much about Bellevue or Buckler.. Ricky Buckler is overrated on a mediocure team in a weak class... :fire:

Just poking fun, no reason for anyone to get upset. :thumb:

They don't think so

Kues is the best all around qb that I have seen... He consistently hits open targets and is a huge threat to run the football.

Rule 13

I agree that Guidugli isn't quite the all around player yet and not the best quarterback. West has by far the guttsiest performance of the season. But the best quarterback in NKY is from Newport Catholic. That kid has some size and some serious tools. And they do play a good schedule, at least they are not in class A anymore like the other NKY Titan.

As far as athlete goes, anyone see the qb from Holy Cross play yet... He can move well

The kid from HC is very, very athletic.
