Until someone knocks them off, they are the preseason #1. They lost 3 starters, but have a wealth of talent coming back. I am sure most from other counties will disagree, but many will be surprised. They will be in the mix.

Using that reasoning Kansas would be the pre-season #1 instead of North Carolina.

 

I think Clark county should be rated #1 in the 10th. They're probably 2nd or 3rd in the state.

You guys are still "new" to the region. Add that to the fact that you're 40 minutes at least from most schools in the region. Out of sight out of mind. If the Camels are as good as what I'm hearing, that respect will come soon enough. Good luck!

 

A thick-headed move by KHSAA. Campbell should still be in the 9th (along with Simon Kenton).

I don't think they beat Scott or Camp Co in district play last year and both of those schools return just as many starters and key contributors as BB. Mont Co also returns some talent off a pretty good team last year.

 

People forget quite easily how close Brossart was to beating Scott.. While I wouldn't say that Brossart is number one in their district, they are most definitely closer than what people think. Give these kids two years with Code, and I think he'll have them prepared to be prepared to take on Scott or Campbell...

 

Jake Rieger, IMO, is the best player in the district... Last year, he was forced to be the go-to-guy as a sophomore, with no Varsity experience. He'll thrive this year due to the improvement of the seniors, and his fellow juniors... They were completely thrown to the wolves last year... This year will be a completely different story.

Rieger is a fine player, but best player in the district is a stretch. Think a few Scott and Campbell followers know of a few players that are pretty good. Brossart should be decent and will definitely be better with more experience. There size will be a major problem for them at times.

My Royals should not be the pre-season #1........I do fully expect this team to be very good.

 

Good enough to pull off an upset sometime through out season. I just hope its later in than sooner.

 

Maybe a little pay back from 2 years ago in the Regional Tourney.

Well said It should be a 3 horse race just a little luck and GRC, MC or CC could be at Rupp this season.
