October 1, 200817 yr I was at this one, sitting in one of the end zone bleachers. Had a good time. Which end zone?
October 1, 200817 yr Thats okay if you want to be one of these people who jump to a conclusion early in the year and get burnt. :thumb: You were probably one of those people who had already handed USC the championship or thought UL was a top 10 team last year going into the season and said UK had no chance against them.:sssh: You are one of VERY few (if any) people that think at this point in time Florida is better than 'Bama. As for UL last season...Returning 95% of your starters from a 12-1 BCS team, yeah, I thought they were going to be good. If your team was in that scenario (I know, it can be hard for you to imagine) you'd think the same. And UK has a shot EVERY year against UL, and vice versa. You'll be hard pressed to find a more heated rivalry, and as much as I dislike UK, you can never count them out.
October 1, 200817 yr Which end zone? Not sure what it's called but the end zone opposite of the student section. Like the end zone close to the big group of WKU fans.
October 1, 200817 yr Not sure what it's called but the end zone opposite of the student section. Like the end zone close to the big group of WKU fans. The west end zone. My wife and I were on the East end zone. It was an awesome experience for me.

I dunno this one is tough, I think Florida is way better than Bama, however for some reason they aren't playing like it. I think partially because they're trying how to work what they have rather than utilizing what they have. Honestly I think you put Florida against any team in the US in a championship game, they probably win by 11+. Not saying they're playing like it as of late, but I do think they're the most capable.

But I don't think its a given that Alabama would beat Florida. Judging by your opinion it seems like you just don't watch much college football.
October 1, 200817 yr I, for one, can say that Alabama has looked much more impressive than Florida so far this season. I am sure UF is loaded with talent, but the Tide have looked like the #2 team in the country.

October 1, 200817 yr I think Alabama has peeked already and will pick up some losses soon. At the end of the season, they will be in a bowl game, but it won't be a BCS bowl, IMO.

October 1, 200817 yr All I'm saying is at this point in the season, Alabama is better than Florida, and IMHO, it's hard to argue that... At this point, Alabama is playing at a higher level. I think a few teams will surpass them though as the season progresses.

October 2, 200817 yr I was there behind the UK bench. I loved the beat down of our neighboring university. WKU does have some solid looking players but speed is a major issue for them a this point when they step up a level. Didn't K.J. Black lead the 2006 KY ALL STARS to Victory? I thought I remembered that name. Question: When sitting behind the UK bench, is the JUMBO-TRON on the right side smaller than the one of the left side?
