This is the same Oregon St team that got dismantled by Penn St. I dont care how unprepared USC was, over if they were overlooking them or whatever. If USC was as good as they were being made out, the circumstances wouldnt matter...this loss should never have happened and it shouldnt be forgotten at the end of the season. I mean, if USC runs the table the rest of the way, they will climb back up in the polls meaning they could end up in the BCS championship. To my way of thinking, that should never happen. I mean, my goodness, OSU was a 1 and 2 team and a 23 point underdog. [/B]I hope that the USC people on BGP will come on back to where you belong!the SEC Come on! As I have stated, Kentucky is 1A and USC is 1B with me. So, I am an SEC person.

They may be in major bowl bids due to the BCS tie ins with the Big11 and PAC10 but it won't be the NC bowl game:thumb:

 

And Ohio State might not count there chickens yet. They got smoked by USC, who got beat by Oregon State who got smoked by Penn State.

USC is a very good team they will be back come January.

It seemed that some USC players were more concerned about how they looked rather than how they were playing. Pretty boys don't win football games.

USC will still have a good shot at the National Title. IMO I don't think a SEC team will go undefeated.

If that 1 loss team is highly ranked right now, and if that loss isn't late to UK, Miss St, Ole Miss, or Arkansas, then probably.

 

If its UK, and they lose to Miss St or Vandy, then no.

Seriously, if any Big Ten team is going to go undefeated it's going to be Wisconsin. I don't understand how so many people overlook them.

 

 

And for the record, Jim Schue is no where near an SEC fan ref. He's for UofL, and generally hates the SEC.

Georgia and Florida play each other so one of them have the capability of going undefeated but that automatically eliminates the other's perfect season. So this game may eliminate one of these 2 teams from a chance at a National Game if they loose another down the road this weekend , say like Georgia has a good chance this weekend of getting knocked out and it doesn't get any easier from here.

This is a ridiculous schedule

This is nice. It gets old every year with people putting USC in the National title game after 1 week. Its good to see them lose so early in the year. They aren't out of it now, but now atleast we won't hear them talking about this team being the greatest team ever anymore for atleast this season.

I was getting ready to post the exact same thing. Which would probably be a fun game to watch to be honest.

Pete Carrol gave no excuses and gave all the credit to OSU.... Very classy...

 

From the sound of things he never had a choice. Personally, I"m glad USC went down. I'm tired of hearing about them year in and year out. It's time for somebody new to step in for awhile.

I'm telling ya, Penn St. is a VERY good team!
