My guess is that when it comes to upgrades, you're told when they happen as opposed to choosing when they happen.

 

If you're buying the hardware, you're deciding when to have it installed.

If someone has a better day of the week to do an upgrade than a Sunday I am all ears? Considering school is not in session and there are normally no games of any kind on Sunday I think it is the ideal day.

 

As to 98's comments. Sure, I could say no but all that would mean is instead of paying a little now I would be paying more later. In other words, any future problems would be met with "I told you so" by our ISP and of course "I told you so" can get expensive.

 

Finally, you don't know what you don't know. Football season pushes the server and identifies problems for us which makes our choices live with the problem or pick a slow day and upgrade.

I was going crazy yesterday Guru. You do not know how bored I was yesterday.

Yesterday was hysterical. Every time Lookout Jones missed a block, I jumped back to the computer to post my sentiments. Mrs Crunch was getting quite a kick out of it.

I really didn't mind the downtime either, but what about Wednesdays for future downtime? Atleast at this time of the year.
