Thanks for keeping me bored all day (Server Upgrade Questions)

 But seriously, I was needing my BGP fix earlier today & couldn't get it the entire day. No fun. Were there some changes made to the site or what?

I was also catching myself checking BGP every hour to see if it would let me in

Some upgrades to hardware. Hopefully things will run a little faster and not bog down.

I understand these things need to be done, but on a Sunday during football season and during the final day of the Ryder Cup....Couldn't have fallen on a worse day IMO.

I saw people on the corner, trying to find a fix of BGP....it was sad!!

And now when I need to concentrate and do my homework, I have BGP to browse. It's a vicious cycle..

The stock market took another plunge, due to uncertainty about the future of BGP. I would say it will be back up tomorrow now that we are back on line.

I'm not addicted to BGP - I just continued to be compelled to sign on, hit refresh, check and make sure the site was still down on an hourly basis!

Can now sympathize with those who lost cable/internet connections for days as a result of the storm.

 Yeah, not addicted whatsoever huh? BGP is one addiction I hope they never find the cure for because if they do my g/f will make me take it...

I also agree for the worse timing ever.

No. How about on a Friday? :D

My guess is that when it comes to upgrades, you're told when they happen as opposed to choosing when they happen.

Good to see I wasn't the only one hitting refresh throughout the day.

Great to see the site back. :thumb:
