Cincy St. X by 2 scores..The Bombers "D" is outstanding..I don't think they have given up more than 17pts in one game...I always root for KY schools. I just think the Bombers will be to much for the Rocks...

Neithers offense will set the world on fire against the others defense, so, I see it as a low scoring game...I like X 14-10, but, I'll be rooting for Trinity...

Cincy X in a close game 17-14 they know how to win the big games in a national setting.

I'm a Rock fan, but there are alot of unknowns for this years team. Is the defense much improved over last year? This remains to be seen until the Rocks play some quality teams. The BG team is a good team, but not like they were last year. As for the Rocks offense, will the young OL make and stay with the block? Cincy X is like Lou X and T, they do not rebuild, they reload. So, with this being said, I look for a very close game. Now, as for the student section, Cincy X has it over T's student section, bar none.

My initial impression is that Trinity is not at a point where they will beat Cincy X. If last year was any indication, X is solid everywhere and doesn't really have any weaknesses. I think T's defense is markedly improved over last year but the offense, probably due to erratic OL play, is not as good--at least at this juncture.

Trinity's RB Phillips has not been able to run like he did last year. If he can somehow break out against X, I will like T's chances a little better. T does not have the WR speed like last year. If T is to win they will have to advance the ball in smaller increments, I believe.....if that is doable against X.

I've mentioned this before. This pits Ky's defending State Champion against Ohio's state champ, who has defeated New Jersey's perennial champs, Indiana's champs and Alabama's champs already this year. Okay they lost to Colerain without their starting QB. St X is returning 4 starters and playing in the smallest stadium they have played in this year. It is time for the Rocks to whup up on the Bombers who have not scored more than 17 points this year. I hope it is a shoot out. Last year, the Rock's offense scored more points than any other team on Cincy St X's schedule with no contribution from Tim Phillips. Let's hope not for just a competitive game but a game to put Kentucky up a notch! As much as this hurts, Go Rocks!

Two things from my observations, and they are probably related: One, he is not getting the blocking. Two (and probably as an effect of #1), he seems to be trying to go for the distance on his rushes instead of just getting what he can get. This is not a knock on Timmy. I understand he is a very driven individual and tries extremely hard at everything he undertakes, including academics (I heard this from one of his teachers.)
