Last year T was worn down by the CincyX ground game. That shouldn't happen this year. However T's offense is probably not clicking at full speed. I think if they played 10 times, CincyX would win all 5 at home and 2 of 5 at T. Thus I'll take T in a close one, 22-21.

Best Trinity defense in 20+ years. Maybe even better than the defense that sported the names of Harrison,Tapp, Hoff and Dombrowski. No team will score 20 or more on this D.

I would love to see the Rocks knock off Cinn X but the D will not stop the power run game X has nor the play-action pass. T does not have the O at this point of the season they had last year hence we will not score as many points. Cov and Beaty will have a very good game plan to break down the 3-3-5 D of X but it will not be enough. Repeat of 2003, X24 T-17.

Two things from my observations, and they are probably related: One, he is not getting the blocking. Two (and probably as an effect of #1), he seems to be trying to go for the distance on his rushes instead of just getting what he can get. This is not a knock on Timmy. I understand he is a very driven individual and tries extremely hard at everything he undertakes, including academics (I heard this from one of his teachers.)

No way is this the best T defense in 20 years, we have not even played a good offensive team yet. Friday will reveal a lot about this D. I think we have very good players just not a good scheme.

To state that this is the best Trinity defense in the past twenty years really discounts some great individuals and teams who have proven their mettle over a season. Give this team some time to show its mettle. It may or may not be the best defense of the Coach Bean era at T.

St.X's defense is just too good. I would like to see Trinity win though.

The O-line must come together! This will be a battle to the end! Execution in the red zone is vital. I like the rocks by 10 points (27-17). I hope I am speaking from the brain and not my heart... One thing is for sure, this game will expose our weaknesses and prepare us for the rest of the season! GO ROCKS! #19

Who are the good players for Trinity's defense besides the LB going to OSU?

 

Overall, Cincinnati football is a little down this year, not a lot, but a little; if Trinity is as good on D as advertised, it will be a low scoring close game.

 

If Trinity's offense is struggling, X will win; they are just too sound and disciplined to give up many points to a struggling offense.

I would love to see an upset here.
