I've only seen Mooney on film and I haven't seen Colerain this year but I think X would be competitive with both teams.

Lex Cath is almost 0-3. If not for a close win last week. Doesn't St. X do this to them every year, I'm not that surprised. Lexington just doesn't have an answer for Lousiville schools.

They played X within a field goal in 2005, the year X had one of their best teams in school history according to many.

First off, in my opinion from people I've talked to, Lex Cath is definately down from the past couple of years. Doesn't mean they are necessarily bad, but against competition like they've played in two of these past games at least they were definately outmatched.

 

As for Lex Cath vs Louisville schools, Lex Cath did go 1-1 against Male in two close games while Bush was there and did have their close game against St. X but you are right, they have struggled of late against X.

Lex Cath beat St X in 2003 and had a close game in 2005...otherwise it's been like last night's game...hot, muggy, and thoroughly manhandled. On the bright side we usually come out of it OK in the long run... but it looks like the old nemesis, Boyle County, is back on track this year....

I really like the way Brutcher is throwing the ball. This group of Tigers are really hard to defend. Duece is a little rusty at this point and make be pressing a bit but it sure will be trouble for teams down the road when he and Neal are in the same backfield.
