Since were all being realistic here, Hills is not as slow as everyone thinks and I do believe that they are one of the most physical teams around. Their O line is much stronger and smarter, so they should be able to give Curry ample time to work. My prediction goes with Hills by 2 TD's.

There is not Doubt that Western Hills has improved. but has Franklin co. fallin so far that it's a no brainer Hills will be in the game at half. Franklin co. is ranked in 4A.

I think there exists a double standard going into this game that maybe some don't realize. I wonder if such negativity would exist around town about Western Hills if Hills would have only lost by 7 points to Lafayette. Don't think so. This Franklin County team understands they did not play well last week. They have a long way to go and their QB had better get back to the fundamentals of the offense. This team has yet to understand the value of practice and extra effort but I think a light has gone off this week that will help this team grow up and come together. IT IS WEEK 3 AFTERALL! Arguably their best player (Leland Robinson) has been out and that has a tremendous impact on the practice tempo because Leland only goes one speed (all out). The success of the FCHS program has relied on diligent preperation week to week over the last 5 1/2 seasons and that seems to be have been lost until this week. I guess we will have to see what happens but I believe the kids at FCHS feel a little stung by the community and its attitude toward their abilities after last week and if they are truly FLYERS then getting taken to task over the worth and respect of your program leaves you backed in a corner you have to fight for your life to get out of at 7:30 tonight. I'll have to see WHHS make this game competetive before I believe it. I say County by 21.

Both teams will come out in a T formation- throw ZERO passes and it will come down to who runs the ball best.

I agree with Corners In- FCHS is not a bunch of slaps. They played a real good Lafayette team last week and didn't perform to their abilities. I am sure you Coach Ledford and staff have their attention. Every team needs a wake up call and I believe that FCHS has received theirs.

 

As for WHHS they have improved under Coach Miller. He is a good coach and has a good staff. They will continue to improve through out the year win or lose.

 

There are a couple of questions that will be answered this week by both teams.

 

1. Did WHHS improve enough to over-come a 39 point defeat from last season.

 

2. Was last week performce by FCHS QB a fluke?

 

 

I think we know how Franklin will play tonight. He will have his team ready they expect to win. Comments from coah ledford earlier this week.

I would say it is more of the expectations of the 2 programs. FC is supposed to be pretty good this year (according to most) and was shutout after scoring 72 the week before.

If you watched the Waggner game you would know why the scored 72. Waggner isn't very good.

I'm looking forward to seeing Stiles get more involved in the Flyer offense. He was a huge component of last years success and hasn't put up big numbers yet. With the Wolverines keying on Hicks, I look for this young man to have a HUGE game.
