Henry Back to the Bengals

I'll believe that Odom and Geathers will do well at pressuring the QB, when I see it.

You also have to remember that Geathers played linebacker for almost half the year last season.

Well that would be disapointing, if he is coming back he better get 15. :walk:

If he does come back, then he should get a new number just to signify a fresh start. Plus, you remember the Florida situation. ;)

Considering this is coming from a non Bengal fan, however if I were, I'd be much more enthused about a defensive upgrade. But that's why the Bengals stay the Bengals, good ole Mike and his crack decision making. (Not to be confused with making decisions on crack!)

Geathers is a stud. He play LB, even though he had no business doing so, to help the team last year. I can see not being impressed with Odom, being the fact he isn't playing.

Geathers has looked really good, the little time he has been out there this preseason. Especially in the GB game.

Chad out with a shoulder and T.J. still not playing this is a move that the Bengals had to make. I want to win and if this goof can help us do just that then bring him back and lets see what we can get out of him before he screws up again.

Whoever said the Bengals could start 2-6 is right on the money. Sure they could steal a game or two here and there, but this season could go downhill really fast.

Marvin Lewis = Sell Out

I don't think Marvin had anything to do with it...

Marvin Lewis = Sell Out

Do we know that for sure? This could be all Mike Brown.

This could be all Mike Brown.

It is...

So my next question is, what changes have been made on the defensive side of the ball to take the Bengals from 7-9 to 10-6? From what I've seen so far they cant tackle to save their lives.

Antwan Odom, Keith Rivers, Pat Sims, a new coordinator...they've made some upgrades. They're not going to be an elite defense, but they don't have to be. They just need to improve and provide some support to the real key for their season, the offense.

The Bengals chances in 2008 hinge on the offense returning to it's elite status. And, we're not going to get a good read on that until we see Chad and TJ on the field together with the rest of the starting unit.

You're right. They could start 2-6. The could also start 5-3. The Dallas game is the only one I'd view as a certain loss. The Giants and Jags games are likely losses, but not sure things.

Seems to me that Marvin would at least have to say he's ok with it?

It's official...

Wow...that's about all I can say.

I hope it works out.
