Are you sure about this? It's important to only post accurate information on BGP.

Call a friend down at the game and ask them but I got it from a great source. They said he was starting to put some pressure on it towards the end of the game. They did take the team doc. with them so he is there taking care of him. They will know more in the moring they said.

I heard early that Male scored first.

That is incorrect. HHS scored on 4 or 5 play of the game. Halftime should of been 20-10 HHS but it wasn't. HHS needs to take better care of the football. wow!

Okay. Just making sure.

Hope Josh is okay!

#23 made a great hard run but got caught at the goaline, and he was on the ground for a while, I could tell he was upset. Hope he is OK.

In warmups watching the Birds QBs I thought #3 had a better arm/touch than #15.

#27 ran hard and I was surprised both teams had first team players in the game midway thru the 4th when I left.

Male's QB played well and is hardnosed. I don't want to say much about Male there might be some snoops on this thread, and I don't want to spoil the Birds future either.

Great to see some football.

Was the final score 20-18 Male? How did the scoring go?

Sloppy game. Turnovers by both teams and lots of penalties. Highlands #27 is one fast dude. Apart from the sloppy play, the game was back and forth and kept your interest until the end. Scoring summary:

HHS TD 6-0 (kick failed)

Male TD 7-6

Male FG 10-6

Half

HHS TD 12-10 (2 pt conv. failed)

Male TD 17-12

HHS TD 18-17 (2 pt conv. failed?)

Male FG 20-18

Male's last score was with about 3:30 left. Highlands turned the ball over on downs with 34 seconds left and Male ran out the clock.

Would you guys/gals say the two teams are about even?

I just got an update on Conner and the early report is a broken fibula.

Yikes! What a shame for any player much less a senior.

Oh man.

Sounds like HHS kicking game needs work.

I'd say about even. The penalties and turnovers were very disruptive, though.

I'm disappointed to hear about the injured player. Hope he heals fast.

Did anyone follow the frosh and JV scrimmages? I saw a good bit of the JV's play, and it looked like HHS ate Male's lunch. I was too far away from the Freshman game to follow it very closely, but it seemed to be more evenly matched.

Will Collinsworth get carries now in Conner's spot?
