After reviewing the tape, we might be missing Jarrod Frank more than Josh! His size and strength up front would have definitely helped us immensely Friday. Lots of missed tackles! Can't miss on a stud like Green. On the upside, lots of great game experience for a lot of underclassmen...and some SRs!! Let's see how the Bird's bounce back......

Did anyone follow the frosh and JV scrimmages? I saw a good bit of the JV's play, and it looked like HHS ate Male's lunch. I was too far away from the Freshman game to follow it very closely, but it seemed to be more evenly matched.

Quite the contradiction??

I heard Birds JV was primarily sophmores and missing a couple of their aces. No excuses intended, but Juniors are a big part of the varsity mix. I'm not sure of the mix with Male, but they had their game on.

 

The Birds Frosh has many weapons, should be hitting on all cylinders in the next 2-weeks. Lots of big hits on both defenses. Overall both teams scoring was even and both had their share of misfires. This was a great test for the Frosh. Hats off to HHS for bringing the Frosh and providing this road trip experience.
