August 15, 200818 yr ^ Patterson gets the start tomorrow I was thinking the same thing, while I don't like Freel, Dusty pulled the same crap with Ryan earlier in the year. Freel would have a good game or two and sit on the bench the next day. Dickerson better be in the lineup tomorrow and continue to be in the lineup the next two months.

I know they would like to have a speedy CF who can leadoff, and I figure they hope he can fill that role. That would leave a RH hitting LF with some pop on their wish list, as well as a catcher and a SS. I wouldn't mind seeing them go after Edgar Renteria in the off season. He has struggled this year in Detroit, but he always seems to have great seasons when he plays in the NL.

They aren't close enough to competing to get Renteria IMO.

August 16, 200818 yr Dickerson's makin an impression, thats for sure. Yep, now I'm looking to see how he rebounds when he goes through a slump or two. We have seen Bruce struggle, but we have also seen him adapt and come back strong. I'm hoping Dickerson can do the same.
August 16, 200818 yr This is a lost season for Harang, while that isn't ground breaking analysis at this point of the season, just amazing how much he continues to struggle. A 3 ERA in April A 5 ERA in May A 6 ERA in June Only the 1 start in July then going on the DL An ERA over 20 in two starts so far in August. :scared:
