It will be a interesting offseason for sure, said that many times now. I'm not really sure how many players are allowed to go to spring training, but there will be competition at many postions. SS will be one of the major postions that IMO will be up for grabs. The Reds have two pretty darn good ones, who may not be to far away. Chris Valaika who has had an outstanding year at AA Chattanoogo. He just turned 23.

Another SS who I really like, and most of us remember back a few years ago when he led Tom's River NJ to the LLWS Championship, is Todd Frazier. He is currently playing in the Class A advanced league in Sarasota, and he to his doing very well.

Drew Stubbs has been playing very well since being called up to AAA, and I look for him to get a call up in September. He is a true CF'er, who I really like as well. If nothing else, there will be some good competition come next year. I just want to see a Team of guys who are hungry, and play the game hard.

Your serious arent you? Look at his numbers in those years he played. He got better with hard work and determination, and it's paying off for him at age 30. That's the whole point, just because a player is a .220 lifetime hitter, doesn't mean he isn't going to get better, and Ludwick has proven that.
