Texas defies World Court

Featured Replies

It is so amusing when proponents of abortion of innocent unborn babies on demand attack the death penalty. There may be many eyes lost if abortion victims get justice in the hereafter.

Do you really want to know my response to this, because it is going to be the same response I always give...

In my opinion a collection of cells that is involved in a parasitic relationship with the Earth loses its rights after it violates the law and kills someone else.

....it is a part of the mother's body and her's to do with as she pleases.......

Shouldn't Texas have the same right to abort a life (execute a murderer) that it no longer wants? You think a woman has the right to abort a human life and this guy in Texas thought he had the right to abort the lives of other people. I have no problem with Texas doing the same thing.

Texas isn't a woman. The murderer isn't attached by an umbilical cord to Woman Texas...so no they dont have that right IMO.

You are right Texas isn't a woman. Texas had to prove it's case beyond a reasonable doubt. Then had to defend that case for over 15 years at every level of the judicial process available. Where an abortion can honestly be decided on a whim, and in all case it is a decision made in a relatively short time frame. No one out there defending the Human fetus during the decision process.

PS: I am not 100% against abortion as I do support it under very limited conditions.

An eye for an eye and we all go blind

Trite. And incomplete.

We don't "all go blind". If you commit no egregious capital crimes, your eyesight will be fine.

For the record, Texas also defied Bush, who didn't want it done, either. When W doesn't want the switch thrown, maybe you should back off.

More than half of Texans are women and the former convicted murderer was a parasite attached to Texas taxpayers. He was lucky that his worthless life was not terminated within nine months after his conviction. Aborted babies do not even get to enjoy their teenage years.

Doesn't W have to say that to make nice with the "World Court". Just my opinion, maybe way off.

Nope. Way to go Texas.

When has W ever cared about the World Court of Public Opinion??

Torture is never the answer. The point of having a justice system is so that we can be above such things.

Why does your "anything goes, anything is permissible" argument not apply to the authorities?

When has W ever cared about the World Court of Public Opinion??

Because he has to think about all of the American citizens around the world. If he comes out and says forget you world and fire the sucker then it endangers American lives. If he public states he is against then he saves face and the dude still dies. Again, this is my opinion and is probalby way off.

He's above such things.

when convenient.

Not human's...it is a fetus. I consider it human the minute it is born. Any time before that it is a part of the mother's body and her's to do with as she pleases.

So yes that is my value system;it works for me as I am sure yours works for you.

Just for the record, it wasn't me who brought abortion into this debate.:D
