July 27, 200818 yr I think you are the w-h-i-n-e-y one. I don't care for wine anymore, and haven't for along time. I had very good wine in Germany - that's my take on the subject.
July 27, 200818 yr Nothing to be ashamed of guys. Boone's Farm withstood the test of time. I tried the stuff once but a ton of girls drank it when we were younger. I'm only 23 by the way... Much like Rebel K, I'm not a big wine guy at all. More of a Whiskey man myself. I didn't know it was still popular with the ones your age....your "a ton of girls drank it" statement might explain a lot. "Boones Farm....An American Legend":lol:

It's still a pretty cheap buzz and tasted good too!! Maybe I'll have to pick up a bottle to see if it still tastes as good as I remember. :jump:
July 27, 200818 yr Lordy . . . if we admit to this everyone will know we're . . . older than the hills!!! :sssh: :ylsuper: OK . . . I'll fess up . . . I remember it!! As a matter of fact . . . I was at a store the other day and saw my old Strawberry Hill!! It took everything I had not to buy a bottle for old times sake!! I don't care a bit to admit that I am an official old fart :thumb:. One thing though, had I known that I would have lived this long (and survived the 70's) then I would had taken much better care of myself. I had fun back then and have some great memories during that time but I wouldn't go back or trade my life now for anything, well except maybe for some health problems and everyne has some kind of problems.
July 27, 200818 yr I have been drinking wine only lately and I have been sampling a new one almost every day. At this point, I would have to go with White Zinfrandel.

July 27, 200818 yr I didn't know it was still popular with the ones your age....your "a ton of girls drank it" statement might explain a lot. "Boones Farm....An American Legend":lol: A ton of girls drank it when I was younger. Or maybe I meant to say this one girl I knew drank a ton of it when she was younger. I can't remember. Either way, I won't elaborate on that subject :sssh::lol:

July 27, 200818 yr Does anyone remember Boones Farm? Strawbery Hill and the Apple were favs back in the day....high school and just out of school in the 70's. I believe if I remember correctly that stuff cost around $1.50 a bottle(5th), what a bargin:lol:. I think that they still make it and I heard that it had esculated to the price of $5.00 or more . Needles to say, I am not a big wine drinker, every great once in a while with dinner when eating out. Those remind me of Mad Dog 20/20:lol: I think I about died on Cisco one time in college. You could drink it and still smell it on your breathe 3 days later. I think it's outlawed now. I just can't hardly drink real wine. It hangs me over too bad. I guess it's from the one night at the wine bar in Lexington when the owner shut the bar down but let my friends and I stay until about 5:00 that morning. I don't think I've had wine since!

July 27, 200818 yr Boone's Farm is still as good as it ever was. My wife and I picked up some different wines near amish ccountry last year on our honeymoon. I will have to check on the names, but they were really good and not that expensive.
July 27, 200818 yr Any kind of Arbor Mist for me. All the other wine I've had has tasted like the smell of dirty gym socks. I'm not a big fan of wine in the first place. I'll take an ice cold beer or an Irish whisky (Tullamore Dew or Bushmill's) any day.
July 27, 200818 yr :thumb::thumb:On 2nd thought, could that be Mr. RK in that avatar? :lol::lol:If he doesn't let me have a little sip soon and if he doesn't stop policing my caffeine it might be him sooner than he thinks.....:lol::lol:
