Probably around 20 a day.

I probably get more emails on my phone then I do text. But I do text daily.

I text about 10 times a day but when college starts back up, I'll do it alot more.

It's a great way to stay in touch with my dad who lives in Minnesota. We talk on the phone to but he will just text me and say hey or whatever sometimes.

Why can't you get all the talking done in one or two phone calls?

I am the "manager" of a softball team and send group texts quite frequently about game times, tournaments, etc. It's pretty efficient and saves me about 10 phone calls. Plus, we don't have the same schedules and many can't answer their phones at work. They do have time to respond to a text though, or they can just read it and get the message. A lot like an email.

I used to hate texting but have grown to like it once I started to do it more often. Pretty easy way to communicate about small stuff, or group stuff.

For those of you who despise texting....

Do you email?

I understand the thought that it's rude, and I agree. I try not to text when I'm out, but sometimes it's too convenient. I don't have full conversation through text (or at least I try not to), but it has been very handy for me.

Because that wont cure boredom like texting will, and depending on what kind of girl it is, it just doesn't work that way.

You mean, like, they're, like, too boring to, like, talk to on the phone?

:D

Exactly and sometimes its easier for both boy and girl to be a little more bold or say what they really think through text.

I send and recieve apx 100 per day

Hate it! My daughter had 17,000 a couple of months ago.

With a girlfriend that wants to know where your at 24/7 it can save you some money if you don't have unlimited minutes.

That sounds like a problem in itself. :jump: 24/7 wow

I text my kids and wife especially if I am in a meeting or on the phone at work which I am 80% of the day.

I text my buddies when I am bored somewhere and wish I wasnt there. My wife hates it and has busted me numerous times.

Its a great way to secretly say things you normally wouldnt want others to hear. LOL
