Bart Fletch
For me, its usually between 50-150 a day. I had a little over a 1,000 in a 2-3 day period one time.
Jim Schue
Ridiculous. I may have done 10 in the 2 years I've had my phone. I just don't see the point.
NKYSTEELERSFAN
I average around 5 to 10 a day and yes I'm a teenager. I would just much rather pick up the phone and call, I like getting straight to the point.

Theoldguy
I agree Jim, it cost me more to text than to call! Funny when I asked my daughter about texting, she told me that very few friends of hers text as it is cheaper to just call since most of her friends have AT@T phones and it is free to call them. theguru
Can't stand texting and I hate it when people text me. I normally don't respond or just call them back. To me texting is extremely inefficient.

I would just much rather pick up the phone and call, I like getting straight to the point. While at work or in class, you just can't do that. And sometimes if you have a significant other or are "talking" to a female you can't be on the telephone all day long so texting is an efficient way to keep in touch and develop a relationship.
