June 5, 200818 yr My high school is 1 game away from the state baseball tourny:) They've got their stud pitching tomorrow night! He's a Freshman but won the District player of the year as an 8th grader and has pitched in 2 Regional Championships (complete games) his 8th + 9th grade year. He also made the All Region team this year (he's a heck of a QB in football too). Sheppard is his last name. Keep an eye out for him. You should be reading a lot about him the next few years if he keeps working. What high school?

June 5, 200818 yr I just saw Ingrid Michaelson (probably spelled wrong) in concert for the second time, tonight. She's not the prettiest girl, but there's something about her that's incredibly attractive when she's on stage doing her thang... and she's quite hilarious, which is a major bonus along with her mad song skills.

It's in Sandusky, OH. Not sure how far from KI it is. I live in Ashland, King's Island is around 2 hours from here. Cedar point is about a 4 hour drive from Ashland but it's worth every minute if you like theme parks. I go at least once every year. The last 3 years I've been going in late September for the parks halloweekends. It's a lot of fun and they have some great deals during that time of the year. It's not as hot and I've noticed it's less crowded. The park really puts a lot of effort into the whole halloween deal. The last two years, we've got the same package. 400 dollars (200 a piece) for two nights in a resort hotel at the park. Two Friday evening tickets and 2 all day Saturday tickets. You can check out all their rates at the parks website. If you want to go, this is when I'd recommend doing it.
