June 9, 200818 yr Not bad at all really...Well except for the hour wait that we had to ride the 'Firehawk', which was WELL worth it IMO. We actually probably rode most coasters there at least twice. We planned on going to the waterpark later that day but by the time we decided to head that way it was already closed. We spent about 8 hours at the park. Good times.... I can't believe the lines werent that long. Must have been the hot weather. I'm tellin ya ScarHeel, if you like roller coasters, Cedar Point is well worth the drive. I always go for a weekend during the parks "halloweekends". It's a lot cooler out in September and the have some really nice packages during that time of the year. Check out their website sometime.

Yeah, the blazing sun had to be a huge reason for the short lines. My g/f's dad was harping about Cedar Points quite heavily. He's also a huge fan. Like I said earlier, with a nickname like it has, I believe it would be well worth the drive.

Top Thrill Dragster and Millennium Force are by far the best two roller coasters I've ever been on and I go to theme parks where ever I go. Check them out on you tube or google sometime. They're ridiculous. The package me and my girl got last year cost 400 dollars. That came with 2 nights in a resort within walking distance of the park. 4 Friday evening tickets (the park is open from 6-12 on Friday during this time of year) and 2 all day saturday tickets. Plus with the saturday tickets, the park opened at 10, but if you had bought one of the packages you could go in the park an hour early and start riding rides. Parking was also included with ours. They actually had a few packages cheaper than that. If you've got a couple hundred bucks layin around, September or October would be a great time to check it out.

It's been a couple of days but I was most definitely zapped at the time. I am actually zapped right now but that's because I rode a four-wheeler for a few hours today. The blazing :fire: sun is no fun.
